How did you come up with this project?
Every font preview site shows you the same thing: a nice line of pangrams on a white background. Then you install the font, put it into a real interface, and it just doesn't feel right.
How often do you use this product yourself?
It uses OCR to detect text areas in your uploaded screenshots and re-renders them with your chosen font.
Font Autopsy uses OCR to detect text areas in your uploaded screenshots and then re-renders those areas using the font of your choice.
I am currently building a Figma plugin that allows for real-time font replacement within design files. I am also exploring previewing variable font axis parameters.
